When my family moved to the U.S. in the early 2000s, we didn’t have much, just big dreams and a willingness to start from scratch. We shared a two-bedroom apartment with my aunt's family, It was tight but filled with hope. We’d dream about buying a place of our own. That simple hope, born in that apartment, planted the first seed of real estate in my mind.

Exactly 20 Years later, my wife and I bought our home, I experienced a different side of the story: Our realtor was great, experienced, knowledgeable, and he helped us close on a home we loved. But as a first-time buyer, I realized just how much I didn’t know. I often found myself unsure of where we were in the process, what we could negotiate, or which details really mattered.
